Interreg Europe announces that the first call for proposals for Interreg Europe 2021-2027 will open on April 5. The deadline will be May 31. The program helps regional and local governments across Europe develop and implement better policies to create an environment and opportunities for sharing solutions and policy learning. The aim is to ensure that government investment, innovation and implementation efforts lead to integrated and sustainable impact for people and place.
Eureka together with its Celtic-Next, Eurogia, Itea, Smart and Xecs Clusters, have joined forces to promote the generation of international technological cooperation projects that deal with sustainability aspects in the different areas covered by each Cluster. 17 countries have committed public funds that will allow selected applicants to develop the projects. This call is open to all technologies linked to industrial sustainability.
The calls for projects worth €12 million in terms of the available budget will contribute to a European innovation ecosystem that is more sustainable, robust and integrated. In addition, the projects will support the scaling of companies and ideas whilst spurring innovation across ecosystems to address important challenges. This new round of calls is open for submissions via two destinations of the EIE Work Programme – CONNECT and SCALEUP.
On 6 January 2022, the European Commission launched the third edition of Horizon Impact Award prize! All beneficiaries of closed FP7/H2020 projects are invited to submit their application to the prize by 8 March 2022 and compete for the prize worth 25.000 € per each winner.
Collaborative Innovation Activities based on a feasible and proven technology (TRL6) that can provide a desirable new solution (product/service/process TRL 8) to address users’ needs in at least one of the call Thematics. The Call will be executed in two stages: a 1 st stage submission (deadline 23:59 CET, 11 March, 2022) and a 2 nd stage submission (deadline 23:59 CET, 29 April, 2022). Note: Proposals not submitted for the 1 st stage cannot be accepted for the 2nd stage.

The ERC Advanced Grants (ERC-AdG) are designed to support excellent and competitive Principal Investigators (PIs) at the career stage at which they are already established research leaders with a recognised track record of research achievements

Forward-Looking Projects are large-scale projects that support forward-looking ideas responding to key European priorities and that have the potential of becoming mainstreamed and giving input for improving education, training and youth systems, as well as to bring a substantial innovative effect in terms of methods and practices. Small-scale Partnerships are designed to widen access to the programme to small-scale actors and individuals who are hard to reach in the fields of school education, adult education, vocational education and training, youth and sport. With lower grant amounts awarded to organizations, shorter duration and simpler administrative requirements compared to the Cooperation Partnerships (deadline 23 March 2022)
Cooperation Partnerships allow organisations to increase the quality and relevance of their activities, to develop and reinforce their networks of partners, to increase their capacity to operate jointly at transnational level, boosting internationalisation of their activities, and through exchanging or developing new practices and methods as well as sharing and confronting ideas.
